The Surf Club Coolangatta is the main financial arm of Coolangatta Surf Club. All proceeds generated by The Surf Club Coolangatta are diverted to the Coolangatta Surf Club. This allows the life savers to fund vital rescue equipment and training to protect swimmers at beautiful Coolangatta beach. The life savers do so by providing patrols on the beach. They have done so for almost 50 years. The beach is patrolled by council life guards at other times. By spending money at our club you are helping to save lives on the beach.

Coolangatta Surf Club is renowned for its excellent friendly service and great value for money. Because of this it has received many hospitality awards. It was Awarded Best Small Surf Club in 2004. It was awarded Best Sports and Recreation Club on two occasions in 2004 and 2005 and again in 2007. In 2008 we were awarded the Clubs Queensland Best Club Food Operation for a medium sized club in Queensland. We were awarded Best Club Gold Coast in 2009 and in 2011 we were awarded Best Surf Life Saving Supporters Club Queensland in the large club category and Best Club Gold Coast in all clubs category.
